Luke's Story...
Update: Leo and Luke have arrived! Come and see these big beautiful and affectionate cats at Woody's Pet Food Deli in Edina. They are doing great and getting lots of attention.

We are about to bring in two sibling male cats that are so sweet and mellow. They love people and are a bonded pair. We are excited to get them into Blue Sky to get them on good food and watch their coats come to life and have them slim down a bit. They are very big at about 15 pounds, three years old, short haired and are neutered. Leo is buff and Luke is pure white. They will be up to date on vet care and brought to Woody's Pet Food Deli in Edina this Wednesday evening. Please visit them later this week. They would be an awesome addition to a working household as they have each other while you are gone.

These big beautiful boys are in Blue Sky Rescue of MN, a non-profit 501c3 foster based rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Wayzata Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayzata, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayzata.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayzata already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayzata breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayzata paves the way for another one to be saved.
