My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
We are Sampson and Charlotte, a bonded pair of seniors who are happy, sweet and loving. I’m Sampson and I’m the man of the house. My foster mom says I’m sweet and very affectionate – a snuggler and a lover who loves to sing when I’m happy. Yes, I truly sing and enjoy doing duets, too! (So if you want to sing along, I’m your guy!)
Charlotte is my older, big sister. I’m very protective of her and think of her as my responsibility. Dad says that’s pretty funny because Charlotte also thinks her job is to watch over her little brother. He says we are quite the pair!
I like to play with squeaky toys. I’ll run to the toy box and grab a toy to play fetch – then do my best to get Charlotte involved in my ‘act.’ Charlotte will join in for a short time (Mom says she does that to mollify me. I’m not sure what that means but she kind of plays with me for a little while – then stops to watch me as I continue to play.)
We are housebroken and like to go for our walks. Being outside on a leash is really neat! And we are learning about riding in the car. I’m pretty good about sitting in the back seat but Mom says we (I think she means Charlotte) needs more practice. Actually what we need to know is that car rides can be to fun places – and not only to the vet. We are happy to practice going some fun places - and will report back to you about our progress.
Mom and Dad agree that we love to be petted, held and have our bellies rubbed. We are happiest being in a loving home, especially since we were ‘brought’ to the shelter by a family member when we were no longer ‘useful.’ Well I can tell you that is not the case – and being FurKids is the best thing that happened to us in quite some time! We may be seniors (I’m 9 and Charlotte is a bit older – but we have a lot of life, love and spunk in us – and will be happy to share all of that with you.)
In return for being in a wonderful foster home, I give kisses and do the Bichon Buzz. Charlotte shows how smart she is by knowing all her commands. She likes to show how well she listens and understands – and wants to please! Mom says she is a cuddler who should, and could, be the Queen. (Hey Mom, I know my commands really well too. Dad can vouch for that!)
We are inseparable and happiest when we can snuggle together. (We have our own beds but also love sleeping in the Big People’s Bed, together!) We also get along well with other small dogs and love people. What we want most of all is a Forever Family ….and a home where we can be together, love and be loved (and where we can entertain you, too!)
If we sound like your kind of pups, please complete an application for us because we’d love to meet you. And nothing would make us happier than to be in our Forever Home.
Tails wags and doggy kisses,
Snuggly Sampson and Charming Charlotte
