Eygpt's Story...
Eygpt was found outside in West Philadelphia @ 55th & Thompson eating off a huge meat bone in the middle of street. I got out of car & picked him up.He did not run & was not afraid of me at all.. He wanted to be rescued & come in from the cold. He let me bathe & groom him-- so emaciated you could feel his bones. He has a very large frame with huge paws & when he for lls out his large frame he will be amazing. He is a full Maine Coon as evident by large framework & huge, heart shaped face with very expressive, emerald eyes. He has the most wonderful, mellow personality & loves to snuggle, be held-- he purrs so loudly. He cuddles with the dogs, me & other cats & kittens-- just a real Lover Boy..He needs a Furever Family to love & spoil him & he has a lifetime of love to give-- hr is appx less than 2 yrs young--- to meet this wonderful guy please call or email to set up an appointment-- days, evening & weekends-- he is neutered, recently vaccinated & combo tested negative for fiv/ felv.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eygpt, a Philadelphia Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
