My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudi, a Siamese, is going to be your instant best friend. He is adventuresome, jumping in any box he can find, and would love a family with kids who want to build him endless box forts. However, at six, Rudi also spends a lot of his time napping in his cat bed (his second favorite places after boxes), so he would also do well in a less active home. He would like to curl up with you at night or sit in you lap during the day, keeping you warm in colder months.

Rudi was adopted as a kitten from a shelter, but his adoptive family could no longer keep him, so he is looking for a forever family again. He has been raised with Misha, a striking rag doll cat, and they need to be adopted together. Rudi shares his foster home with a dog, so would be fine being adopted into a home with a dog. Rudi has no health issues. He is not declawed and likes his scratching post. While pictures don't do him justice, it is his personality that you will fall in love with most.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
