"Mittie the Pittie" (short for Matilda) is a 50 lb loving wonder-dog who is approximately 2 years old.
An unassuming Pittie-mix by day, she has been house trained, crate trained, leash trained, routined, and socialized. She is in excellent health, having been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and testing negative for heart worm.
By night, she reveals her mysterious superpower. Having absorbed solar energy by day by basking in the sun, she harnesses its power and is able to lovingly channel it to you via her signature snuggle maneuver, the "Muzzle Nuzzle."
She is polite, willing to sit, shake your hand, lay down, and/or or enter her crate in exchange for treats. She will even wait to eat during meal times until she is told it is "OK."
She can have a high play-drive, oftentimes eager to play toy fetch (with small treat rewards for returning it). Yet, she can be just as content nested in her bed while you watch TV.
She is sociable with people and other dogs. She enjoys daily walks and especially looks forward to "dates" that include a walk in the park.
As an indoor dog, she likes to be "tucked in" at night with a fleece blanket, and will lightly snore when she is most comfortable.
She comes complete with a bevy of accessories, including collapsible crate, premium luxury bed, custom collars, walking & auto harnesses, retractable & hard leads, flea & tick treatment, heart wormer tablets, ultra premium kibble food, and rawhide chews.
She is very much a "plug-and-play" canine companion, has been certified "pre-loved" by her fosters, and is recommended for a compassionate "Forever Home."
"Mittie" is a fawn Pittie-mix with a weight of 50lbs, but has a "softer" look, not being overly muscular. Veterinarian estimates she is approximately 2 years old.
She is in excellent health, having been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.
Mittie's adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay, negative heart worm test, vaccinations for the year and microchip. If interested in adopting Mittie, please apply online at www.nashvillepittie.org/adoption_application.html.
