CHA-CHA's Story...
Well you saw my picture and now you are reading my bio – so I guess you think I’m pretty cute, too. My name is Cha-Cha and I am an adorable little Chihuahua mix, weighing about 12 pounds and am I am 3 to 4 years old. I am crate trained and housetrained. I love to sleep in bed with my foster mom. I am little scared of my big foster brother dogs, but I do okay. I can hold my own. My favorite thing to do is to walk on the back of the couch, that makes me feel bigger than I really am. I didn’t do well at the shelter because all of that barking scared me, so my foster mom came and got me, and I am very happy in my foster home. But I would really like a home of my own, or maybe with one other small brother or sister. I love attention and I do give kisses. I love getting my belly scratched. So please, won’t you consider adopting me? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHA-CHA, a Salem Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Salem, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
