Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone! My name is Simone, and I’m a 1-2 year old young female Whippet mix. I was recently pulled from a kill shelter in Tennessee where I had been for months in a tiny cell with my best friend Herschel Walker who is a Rottie/Basset mix. He and I were picked up together running loose as strays and no one ever came to get us. I’m a delicate little thing, probably weigh only about 30 pounds. I am very sweet but don’t let that fool you because I have a lot of energy and just want to play, play, play. I am very friendly with all dogs and cats and I love people. After being caged up for all that time though, I am trying to find my pace, since I am so excited about being FREE …finally FREE! Once I get outside to play, I run and run and run and then usually come in and calm down. I am crate trained and haven’t really had any accidents in the house. My foster mom does work at home, so I may need a little help with that to get on your schedule. I also need some help at leash walking, but I bet if you took the time and had patience to train me, I would be a great running partner. Please let my Aunt Candace know if you would like to adopt me and help me start my new life. I will be waiting for your call. Hope to see you soon! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
