Juniper is the perfect size pup if you want a dog that isn't too big, but small enough to pick up onto your lap. And to piggy back onto that, she will be so content to be next to you. As you can see from the photos, she bonds quickly and easily to her human. I (Chey) was down in Alabama interacting with her. She will look up at you adoringly when you give her any sort of positive attention. Her little paw will wrap around your leg as if she is telling you to not stop. Juniper was more interested in interacted with us as opposed to the toys. She did however interact with the other pups on the playground. She is looking forward to being in her forever home as soon as possible. She just wants a place to call home.
If you would like to adopt Juniper, please contact Cindy at ddrcindyp@aol.com.
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
VETTING NOTE: Double Dog Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.
HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
