Hi, my name is Drew. I have the most beautiful solid light red hair color. I’m your typical redhead female-full of life, fiery, and fun! I get along great with other dogs and l especially love to play with my yard buddy, Tara. I’m a social butterfly, so when Tara decides to take a rest in the yard, I like to go socialize with my other friends to keep busy. I love being outside! I love walks, chasing birds, and playing with other dogs. The only thing I am missing is an outdoorsy family to call my own.

If you would like to learn more about Drew please contact:

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Double Dog Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
