Male terrier mix
Approx 2 years old
Approx 8 lbs
This poor little guy is terrified at the shelter and we certainly can't blame him
He is extremely skittish and will snap when being handled
We are hopeful that a loving home away from the scary sounds of the shelter will help him, however due to his current behavior we are looking for a home with no small children.
He very much wants to trust, you can see it in his eyes.
He will stay close to you, just gets nervous when you go to pet him
One thing that gives him confidence is the companionship of another little buddy. He did great with a chihuahua. We did not test him with bigger dogs because he is just too scared.
LEGAL DAY OF ADOPTION IS 1/28
IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PLEASE EMAIL CTSHELTERDOGS@GMAIL.COM
PLEASE TAKE ADOPTION SERIOUSLY, DOGS CANNOT BE RETURNED TO THE SHELTER. THANK YOU.

Act quickly to adopt St Kitts. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

St Kitts, a Bloomfield Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bloomfield, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
