Tiny's Story...
Hello new friend! My name is Tiny and I'm a three year old long-haired Chihuahua mix. I'm an all-around great pup with a personality to boot! I attach very quickly to my people and love to cuddle with everyone.

I'm good with other dogs, but I'm not quite sure about cats. Got chickens? I love chickens! I rarely bark and listen well to commands. I'm working on going potty outside, but I haven't figured it out quite yet. I'm neutered and up to date on my shots. My adoption fee is $125.

I'm ready for my furever family! I'm currently in a foster home so please fill out an application here http://www.al-van.org/AV/Adoptapp.html or call my friends at Al-Van Humane Society at (269) 637-5062 to arrange to meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a South Haven Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
