Meet Valentina!
Valentina is an adorable, 4-month-old pittie mix. She loves playing with her two kitty foster siblings, and her perfect forever home would have a VERY patient cat who will be OK with her wanting to play!
Valentina has only met children at a store or adoption event. In those cases, she is respectful and likes to give kisses. She LOVES other dogs and can be vocal during play, so she would do best in a home with a dog who will correct her if she gets too playful.
This sweet pup is extremely affectionate and loves to be close to her humans and foster siblings. She is doing really well on her potty training, and is starting to let her foster parents know that she has to go outside by walking to the back door.
Valentina loves her crate and will go in there all on her own to get some rest, and to eat.

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
