Garland's Story...
This little hunk is Garland! All 3 of his sisters have found their furever home, but Garland is wondering why he didn't find his home for the holidays. Garland is a 3 month old hound and lab mix. He is going to be a big boy! This cutie is also smart... He is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained! Garland LOVES his fosters' big dogs, and he is also good with cats. He is a very playful boy, and would be great in a home with other dogs so he can expend his energy. He also loves his toys and his bed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Garland, a Macon Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Macon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
