Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a delightful small dog. She is very quiet and calm. Sometimes she will get excited and play like a puppy. Most of the time she just loves cuddling up to a warm body on the couch. She has been exposed to bigger dogs, cats and young children. She does great with everyone! In fact, she doesn't meet a stranger. She's worked at a greeter at the FOR office and loved the job! She weighs roughly 10-12 pounds and is estimated to be 1-3 years old. If you would like to know more about Trixie and set up a meeting send an email to info@FORrescue.net. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Homewood Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
