This beautiful young lady is Tess, a 1 year old doberman mix that would love a great home of her own. Tess came to us when her time ran out in an overcrowded shelter down south, and she was in need of another chance at life. Tess couldn't be happier to be in a new place, making new friends. She is very friendly and although she likes to act as if she's a bit shy at first, all it takes is a sniff or two for Tess to realize that you're okay, then she's your instant friend. Tess is very puppyish. She is a bit unsure of herself and when she gets excited and playful, she stops every so often to be sure that she's doing things right. Tess is very well behaved on a leash and will sit politely when asked. She is more interested in people than she is treats, but some toys get her attention. She loves to let loose in our exercise yard and run and play. Tess gets along fine with other dogs and just loves people. This young lady would make a wonderful addition to any loving family.
