Curly's Story...
This small little bundle of love will melt your heart with his big brown eyes, and make you laugh with his tiny, wagging tail. Already full of gusto and zeal, he is very aware of everything around him and is curious to know what the world is all about. Wanting nothing more than to sit in your lap or play tug-o-war with his brother, Curly is a hilarious puppy. He's a sweet little guy who would love to make his forever home with you!
If you want to apply for Curly click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curly, a Meridian Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
