Corky's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Corky's Story...
AVAILABLE 11-16-14 Corky came in one day in November with more then 20 other cats from a home where they were free to reproduce to very high numbers. That was just the total that came in on one day from the home. He is certainly good with other cats and loves people. He is a most beautiful golden hue painted with black stripes of a tabby print. He is now neutered and up to date on his shots. Corky has been dewormed and has gotten his rabies shot. This young lad is under 3 years old and full of love. He would love a home to play and nap in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corky, a Elizabeth City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elizabeth City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elizabeth City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth City paves the way for another one to be saved.
