Hi there! My name is Ginny. I'm about 3 years old and I weigh about 15 lbs.
My friend Gabby and I were dumped out in the Lisbon area around Christmas and nobody had been able to catch us. Finally, one of the nice ladies who'd been feeding us was able to get me lured in a box trap and was able to get Gabby to go in the barn after me and shut us up in the barn. After that the pound was able to come and get us caught and brought us here to the pound where we wait to find new homes.
We're very, very good little girls. We even get to sleep in a little kennel in the office area so we don't have to go back in the kennel area with the big dogs. We keep our little kennel clean at night and we seem to be potty trained (no accidents as long as we're taken outside a few time a day.
We're typical little dogs... We prefer a nice, warm bed to sleep on or a nice, warm lap is even better!
We're typically very quiet little gals. We do bark for a few seconds when new people come in, but we settle down quickly and show everyone just how sweet we are!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JANUARY 23, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
