MEET RUSTY....and don't let that sly little smile fool you for a moment!! This absolutely adorable, petite @ 8 lbs, red/white, 2 yr old Shih Tzu/Terrier pup is a live wire! Rusty came from the Moreno Valley Shelter after being hit by a car :( His injuries were superficial, and he is AOK....!! Rusty is all puppy! He loves to rule the roost and lets everyone know that he is the boss! He isn't afraid of dogs -- big or small -- cats or kids! Loves them all! When he came out of the shelter, he had a serious URI, so he showed his "calmer" side. Once he felt better...he was here, there and everywhere! As you can see, he loves toys! He needs to go to a home where there is another small, young, playful dog. He seems to be potty trained, but we never guarantee! Rusty is a great little guy who could fit in your pocket! He'd love to be your man/boy/forever friend! Do you have a place in your heart for Rusty?

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
