My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted February 2015

Hi! I'm Millie!
I am a 5 month old (born approx. August 2014) female tuxedo kitten. I am spayed, house trained, and up to date on vaccines.

So my story goes like this. I have been outside for quite a few months. I kinda enjoyed the freedom. Running around, not a care in the world, and then it happened...winter! At first I thought it was my imagination getting chilly during the day and in the nights it felt colder and colder. Then this white stuff came down and it got really cold, freezing in fact. I enjoyed my days and nights out and about less and less.

So I made my way to this house where a really nice family lived. They would put food out for me but couldn't bring me inside (turns out they couldn't due to medical reasons). I wanted to go inside with them so bad. I would sit in the window staring in, jump in their car when they came home and try to run into the house when they opened the door.

So the really nice family did the next best thing. They contacted Muskoka Animal Rescue and now I am safe and sound in a foster home where it's warm and there is food and cuddles too!

Turns out I am very affectionate and love to curl up in my foster mama's lap. And of coarse being a cat I am super curious and like to follow her around to see what she's up to :)

I am so thankful to that nice family that found a way to get me inside outta the cold and I can't wait to find my very own forever home!

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*
