Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe is a 9 week old pup that is searching for his forever home. His mom is Australian shepherd, and we believe dad might have been American Bulldog based on the way his siblings look. But we
are not completely sure.

Roscoe has been neutered and microchipped, is up to date on shots, and is puppy pad trained and crate trained. If interested in making Roscoe a new member of your family, fill out an application on Kentuckysave.org.

If interested in any of our other available puppies, dogs, kittens or cats you can check them out at Kentuckysave.org or by liking us on Facebook. If interested in meeting any of our available pets, follow us on Facebook to keep up with our weekly adoption events.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Lexington Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
