Meet MOOSE! A 1-2 yr old Chihuahua & terrier mix. Moose is cute as a button and weighs about 11 pounds. Sadly Moose has been bounced around way too much already and is ready to settle down in his forever home. He will need someone that is patient and understanding as he is very shy when first meeting him, but yet a strong leader, as Moose needs a leader. Moose is cat friendly and LOVES to play with other dogs. Moose also plays fetch pretty well. He is doing well with crate training, just needs supervision during free roaming time and is getting more comfortable wearing a belly band. Moose is at the age where he can focus and is ready to learn. A few classes with him and his new family would be such a bonding and rewarding experience. Moose just wants to be loved 24/7 and we are hoping that his forever is right around the corner. Moose is neutered, microchipped, UTD and HW tested negative and on monthly preventative.

Our Adoption Process...

PLDP's number one goal is the successful placement of pets into their forever homes. Our process is designed to ensure the best adoption match for our pets and your family.

Families interested in adopting a pet should fill out the adoption application at www.pldpaws.org and email it to pldpaws@gmail.com. A PLDP representative will review your application and respond to you within 48 hours. After your application is processed, a time to meet your new fur friend can be scheduled. PLDP also requires home visits for all applicants. This visit can be done at the time of the meet or at a separate time. If you have any questions regarding our adoption process, please feel free to contact us.
