Ruger's Story...
TRK9 took in 2 litters, 16 puppies! One from a shelter about to be euthanized and the second was a stray family living in the bushes in the cold. This puppy is from the second litter, the strays. ALL puppies are absolutely healthy and will be ready to go to their new home on February 1. The adoption fee is $100, which will include the full first round of vaccines, an exam, a bath, dewormer, puppy chow, bowl, collar and leash. For $185, you receive all of that in addition to a voucher to have your puppy spayed/neutered at 6 months old. Please send me an email at therescuedk9@gmail.com to come meet and reserve a puppy! They are absolutely ADORABLE. These puppies are almost 6 weeks old (which is why they can't go to a new home until February 1), they are pitbull mixes, all weened from momma and eating and drinking wonderfully. As I said before, all puppies are perfectly healthy and extra chubby!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruger, a Dallas Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
