Pebbles's Story...
I am just six weeks old today and though I am not ready for adoption right now I will be available when I turn eight weeks old on Feb. 5th. My mother River is also available through Family Addition and currently weighs 75lbs, so they believe I will be about the same size when full grown. If you are interested in possibly adopting me once I am available please fill out an adoption application now.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $250, which includes vaccinations up to date, spay/neuter, and microchip. All of our dogs of proper age/health are on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives while in our care.

If you are interested in adopting this canine, please visit our website and fill out an application online at www.familyadditiondogrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
