Howdy! My name is Dawson - thanks for visiting my page! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself so that we can get to know each other better!
I am a 4-5 year old male "Party Poodle." What's a Party Poodle you ask...well, I am a lot of fun, but my breed/color name comes from the fact that I am a Poodle with spots! I am a little fella about 10-12 lbs and full grown. I can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people but with some gentle words and a tasty treat, I learn to trust fairly quickly. I am good with other dogs, although dogs that are hyper, super active, and pushy scare me so I'm looking for a home with a mellow friend who will play with me but allow me to get comfortable without overwhelming me. Because I can be shy and nervous, I am looking for a home without small kids under the age of 10. I haven't met a cat yet so I'm not sure if they are fun or not - but my foster mom says that she thinks I would be pretty respectful of kitties. I am learning this thing called Potty training, but I don't have the hang of it just yet so I'm looking for a patient and kind owner who will help me learn with gentle and loving reminders and treat rewards when I get it right.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
