Jay is a male Poodle/Bichon Frise mix approximately 1 1/2 years in age. He is small, weighing in at only 10 pounds full grown. Jay has a silky black coat of curls that are non-shedding. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. Jay has pretty white markings around his face and chest giving him sweet character. His perky little ears are very expressive as are his bright, coal black eyes. Jay is a smart boy and is attentive to his people. He is sensitive and tender, wanting only to do the right thing and understand what you desire from him. He is very responsive to voice commands and will obey immediately when spoken to. He will walk right along beside you, eagerly on leash with a pretty bounce to his step and looking up at you regularly for direction. He responds beautifully to a high, encouraging voice. Jay promises to be a very devoted, loyal pet with his immediate family and those he loves and trusts. He is not a fan of chaotic environments and would do best in a safe, warm household, possibly with another dog his size for companionship. Jay is excellent with other dogs and good with cats. He is loving an affectionate, preferring a gentle, soft touch and quiet cuddling. Jay is very well behaved inside the home and rides easily in the car. He would love to be your little co-pilot! Jay was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Jay’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
