Bella's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bella is a shy little young beagle/feist mix. She is a beautiful tricolor with a black saddle.  Bella was a give-away from a litter at a local WalMart.  The lady who took her could not keep her, so she ended up being given away again and then ended up with DHS. Her current fosters have  7 dogs and 3 cats and she loves them all. She is being house trained and is learning about a leash and crate. Bella loves to play but is gentle, so would be good even with smaller children.  She will probably not mature to more than 35 lbs so will be a perfect snuggle size. Bella was fixed on August 1st and adopted prior to that on July 20th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Rayville Beagle/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Feist for sale in Rayville, or seeking a Beagle/Feist dog from a breeder in Rayville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rayville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rayville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Feist breeders who help with Beagle/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rayville paves the way for another one to be saved.
