My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hello, everybody! My name is J.J., and I'm an adorable boy with a joyful temperament. I'm a Shepherd/ Collie pup at about nine months old, and I'm already close to my full size. You've really got to see me in person to fully appreciate my uncommon good looks. My ears seem to possess a life of their own. I'd be an excellent family pet, and I know that I'll quickly become a cherished member of the family. I play nicely with other dogs, too. Everyone here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter agrees that I'm a truly special dog who'll bring happiness and love into my new home. I'm also smart, and I know how to sit on command. I'll probably need to work on my house training skills when I get home, and I know I can catch on pretty fast if you'll be patient and consistent with me. It probably goes without saying, but I'll need a fenced yard in my new home, and I'll need a daily walk to be at my best. Won't you please come visit me? They've got a really nice play yard here where we can get better acquainted and have some fun together. Maybe you could toss around a toy for me, then I'd love a nice scratch behind my ears. I have a good feeling that you'll fall for me after we go out to the yard together. I hope to see you soon! Love, J,J." Kennel #4
