Hello People!
I’m Jake, a happy, silly, loving and playful Bichon boy of about six who is an amazing companion. I love everybody (big and small, I like them all!) and everything. My foster Mom says I’m a natural greeter and I am always interested in what is going on around me. I’m amazing with kids, too. I let them carry me around and also lie quietly in their laps. Dad says I’m a goofy, sweet and all-around great guy. (Can you tell he likes me too?)
Mom, Dad and the kids like to play this game where they wave their arms around me and I try to catch them. I’m really quite good at it, too. The way they know I want to play is that I lie down on my back and look so cute they want to give me a belly rub. And after the belly rub, well it’s … play time!
I love chasing my stuffed bone and throwing my shoe toy across the room. I also like to play ‘Sentry’ on the couch. That is until I close my eyes and enjoy the comfort of the pillows!
Mom says I am very smart, sweet and eager to please! She says you can see in my eyes how happy I am and how happy I want you to be! I’m very attentive to everything she says and listen really well. Mom says I like to snuggle and cuddle -- and that I get and give lots of kisses. When the lights go out and it’s to go to sleep, then I jump into bed and get ready to snuggle for the night.
I love to go on rides in the car and enjoy my walks. Anywhere you are is where I want to be. Need a guy to go on errands (I lay quietly in the car) or go to the beach? How about watching TV or working on the computer? There is no doubt that I am a delightful and dedicated companion – and I would like to have my very own Forever Family who will love and cherish me like Mom does --and make me a part of their lives. I hope so because I just want to be loved and have so much love to give.
