Alice's Story...
Hello, I'm Alice and I seem to have fallen down the wrong rabbit hole and ended up at a shelter. I'm out now though and in a splendid foster home. I also think I found an "eat me" cake while on my adventures and grew so tall because I'm only about 10 months old and weigh 82 pounds. I'm a very proper girl though and know how to curtsey (actually she's sweet and timid and rolls over on her back so you'll pet her belly but we'll let her keep calling it a curtsey). I have big, lovely brown eyes that just look into your soul. Sometimes I think of six impossible things before breakfast but I do know that one very possible thing is that I find my forever home quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Hagerstown Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
