I may be the runt of my litter but I think I have the prettiest coat!  I have some spots in my gray but I have lots of white all around my face, chest, legs, and sides too.  I’m from a litter of four kittens that were born to a mom who was exposed to Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and we all tested light positive for it.  FeLV isn’t the death sentence it once was and I can live a long life even if my system can’t get rid of it.  I should be an only kitty though, or with other positive kitties, but this isn’t transmittable to people or other species, it’s just a feline thing!  We all got it from our mom who probably got it from the stray male that made her pregnant.  We are waiting to be re-tested a different way to see if we’ve been able to fight it off but in the meantime, we’re getting bigger and our quarters are getting a little cramped.  If you’re looking for a beautiful girl that is sweet, loving and playful, please consider me, and maybe one or two of my siblings or my mom!  I’m litter trained and need to be strictly indoors! I am 2 years old.

About Second Chance Companions

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1993, Second Chance Companions is a 501(c) 3 non-profit pet organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and the Portland Metro area.

We are a humane, no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Although we do not run an independent shelter, we feed, care for, adopt out, and spay & neuter as many animals as possible. In addition, we educate the community and are always seeking volunteers and resources that help us to accomplish our mission.

We have a small number of foster homes available, but also work with private owners who keep their pets while looking for homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats available for adoption all the time at the Vancouver Plaza and Gresham Petsmarts.

We also have adoption events most every weekend and often during the week too. See all of our currently scheduled events at:
