Gabby's Story...
Gabby is a happy dog, and we say she is always smiling. She is mostly black labrador, but because her hair is a little longer she may also have some chow in his background. She is neutered and has all her shots, and she is heart worm positive but is being treated.. Gabby weighs 55 pounds, and she is a very sweet dog with a lab personality. Her tail is always wagging a mile a minute! She is currently located in Madison, MS, but transport to New England or Chicago can be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you're interested in taking her into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Groton Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
