Jett's Story...
JETT (AKA JZ) is an adorable 12 week old male Shepherd or Lab mix puppy who was found on Exchange St in Union City, TN, in January 2015. He was not claimed and so he is now looking for a good home. He is black with some white on his chest and chin. His foster says that this picture does not do him justice. He is a great little dog, not too hyper, very sweet and cuddly and loves to sleep at her feet. He would be wonderful for a family or as a companion. He weighed 12.4 pounds in mid January. He will be fully vetted and neutered. He is too young to test for heartworms. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Jett if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue to cover the cost of his vetting and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jett, a Union City Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Union City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
