Kassie's Story...
I don't mean to brag, but I'm such an incredibly gorgeous (and sweet!) puppy - it's hard to believe I'm still waiting for my FOREVER HOME. My name is Kassie, and I'm a housebroken, 7 month old Lab mix girl.
My fabulous NY foster mom says, "Who wouldn't love this adorable face?! At 7 months old, Kassie is the most gentle dog I have ever seen, especially with my toddler! She loves affection from everyone, and would be very happy to climb into your lap for some snuggle time. This girl is definitely not a high maintenance dog!" Kassie is wonderful with all, including other dogs, children (toddlers included!) and cats! (So much so that her foster's cat follows Kassie around the house just to be near her!) Kassie needs a home with another friendly dog who will keep her company, as well as a securely fenced yard. This amazing puppy is going to make an wonderful family member!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kassie, a Sagaponack Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
