Katzie and her littermates came into this world on November 1, 2014; so she is just over 2 months old. To the best of our knowledge, we believe that there is some Shepherd, some Lab, and possibly a myriad of other breeds in their mix. These five puppies were born to a mother whose family for some unknown reason did not sterilize their Mom. These little sweeties will be vaccinated, de-wormed, sterilized, and undergo a Vet exam. Animatch will do everything possible to ensure that Katzie and her siblings go to homes that are willing to commit to them for their entire life.
Katzie’s story, like that of her four littermates, will have a happy ending. It is certainly not the case for so many pups. Too many people are grossly uneducated and not spaying and neutering their dogs. They turn deaf ears to the pleas of spay-neuter. Meanwhile, thousands of healthy, adoptable dogs are killed every year due to irresponsible breeding. Animatch and other rescues cannot save them all. These needless deaths can be prevented. Please speak for the dogs (and cats) and promote the spaying and neutering of pets. Get involved ... you have a voice, use it.
