Hey, Stix here. I am a familiar face at Animatch ... luck just doesn’t seem to be on my side. A family adopted me a few months ago but sadly one of the family members got very sick. You can read my story below. I just know there is a family out there who would love to adopt me. I can react by snapping if I feel cornered, so an experienced guardian would best suit me. All these changes in my life make me nervous and I just need a patient person to help me regain my trust. Would it be you?

My name is Stix and I’d be ever so grateful if you picked me to adopt. I’m a 5-year-old Chihuahua with lots of spunk and my favourite past time is going for walks and fetching my ball. We could share fun, companionship and exciting times, I just know it. My story is kind of sad; I had a human who loved me dearly but she died. I was very brave and stayed close by until someone picked me up and brought me to Animatch; I was proud of myself for being so fearless. We Chihuahuas are notorious for being stubborn when it comes to toilet training but I am very smart and really want to please, so you will just have to show a little patience while I get adjusted to my new life. I do get along with all the other little dogs and if you already have a Chi that would be fun. Although I do love to cuddle and warm my human’s lap, I’m still need daily walks and some playtime. Condo/apartment living would not be recommended for me as I am quick to sound the alarm (bark). I would also do best in a home where I am not alone all day. If you adopt me, please make sure that you are prepared to love and care for me for my entire life. In return, I will be your devoted friend forever. So, please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt me.
