Timber's Story...
I'm Timber. They tell me I look like a fox and if I was a girl, they would have named me Foxy! Thank goodness I'm a boy dog! I'm having fun in foster so far. There are lots of other dogs here and so many new things to see.

I met some kitties today and they seemed nice. The lady seemed really happy that I liked the kitties and said I'm find a forever home really quickly. Yay! I generally like everyone and everything so it wasn't hard...

Timber will be 3 in March. He appears to do fine with cats. He will be available soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
