Guinness's Story...
Hi! My name is Guinness. My brother George and I were fending for ourselves at the loading dock of a business out in the cold and rain when some nice people saved us. I am pretty laid back for a kitten but I do like to play. More to come about me later. If you are interested in me, contact Jeannie 678.772.3564.
From Guinness' foster mom:
Guinness has gained so much confidence over the last few months! He was the most skittish of the three cats rescued from the loading dock but has become much more relaxed since coming into my home. He loves to be petted and groomed by my other foster cat Hemingway. He runs and plays with the other cats in my house. He's comfortable around my two dogs and even takes naps in their cages. Guinness would do best in a home with another cat so he can continued to gain confidence and have someone to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinness, a Smyrna Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
