George's Story...
Hi! My name is George. My brother, Guinness, and I were fending for ourselves at the loading dock of a business out in the cold and rain when some nice people saved us. I am pretty laid back for a kitten but I do like to play. More to come about me later. If you are interested in me, please contact my foster mom Jeannie at jeanniegahomelesspets@gmail.com.

From George's foster mom:
George has absolutely blossomed over the last few months! He's not as shy or skittish as when he first came into my home. George is very affectionate and loves to be petted. He'll also come up to me and give me kisses or just sit in my lap for pets. He runs and plays with all of the other cats, especially my foster cat Hemingway. George loves him because he likes to groom everyone and George just loves it! I have two dogs and George is comfortable with them. He even takes naps inside their cages! George would be best in a home with another cat so he'll have companionship, a playmate and help with his confidence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Smyrna Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
