Grant's Story...
***COURTESY LISTING***
Grant was rescued from a shelter and needs a home of his own. He is a 3 year old, red merle heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). He gets along with other dogs and the foster believes he would be fine with children. Grant has not been exposed to cats at this time. He is neutered, current on his shots, and microchipped. He just loves people. Some of his favorite thing are to go on walks and to hang out with his peeps! If you are interested in adopting Grant, please contact Mary at 281.235.2423 or maryvwalker@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grant, a Friendswood Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Friendswood, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Friendswood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Friendswood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Friendswood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Friendswood paves the way for another one to be saved.
