Hi I'm Barney, I'm a goofball. I basically look like a black lab with longer ears. I sat in the shelter for a long time before my friends at POET came for me. The shelter made me sad because I couldn't be with people 24/7.

I'm a super friendly ham. I can be a little vocal when I want something but I settle down nicely. I'm very treat and food motivated, so I can learn but I need to be rewarded! I can be a bit of a counter surfer, but my foster family is working on that. A big back yard would be awesome because I like to sniff and explore. It's not mandatory, though. One thing I am not suited for is apartment living. I love toys and to curl up on the couch.
