ZANDER's Story...
What a handsome young man! Zander is colored up so unusually pretty. He is good natured, friendly, happy, active and playful…just a great little guy. He loves people and gets along with all the other dogs and cats. He does have a more dominant personality tho. Zander and his brother were rescued from the local kill shelter and he would love nothing more than to be adopted by an active and loving family. He was born around 10/22/14, which would make him 14 weeks old at the time of this posting. Zander will be neutered 1/30/15 and will be ready to go about 10 days later. He is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZANDER, a Newburgh Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
