Rufus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rufus's Story...
Hello! My name is Rufus and I am a 8-year-old male Weim who is looking a family with no small dogs or little children. I am a bigger guy, as you can see, so I would really benefit from a active owner who could help me get my slimmer physique back. My new foster family is helping me with this endeavor! Summer is coming after all, and who does not need to shed a few pounds this time of year??

I get along well with other big dogs, but the tiny dogs are not a good sibling match for me. I am a little too interested in them....if you get my drift!!! This also means that me living harmoniously with cats is not not likely in the cards for me either! I can get a little guardy over my items, so an experienced Weim owner would be a better fit for me. So what do you say? Me and you, walking or running partners, so both of us get our fitness mojo back?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
