My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fozzy!

Age: Approx 1.5yo | Weight: 8lbs
Breed: Terrier Mix
Dogs: Yes(Required) | Cats: Not Tested | Kids: Older or None At All
Status: Available

Fozzy is a sweet, shy little guy that has made huge gains since coming into care!

Fozzy was on 'hold' while he came out of his shell a bit, and then again for his FHO surgery. However, he is now ready to start meeting and greeting! Fozzy is a lovely little guy once he has the chance to trust and warm up. Fozzy loves the company of another dog in the home, he takes comfort and cues from his furry companions as he trusts them. He has real love for his larger breed foster sister and will even clean her legs after an adventure at the dykes. Due to Fozzy’s FHO surgery he is requiring leashed walks only as he continues to build up the muscle in his leg after having been off of it for so long. Slow and steady is his current mantra!

In a new home Fozzy may want to hide for the first while, and the right home will be willing to let him come to you on his own terms in his own time. Fozzy has been through a lot in his short little life so needs patience as it takes time to trust.

Fozzy has proven to be gentle around lots of different types of people and has even had some head scratches from a couple of gentle-minded children. We do not recommend younger kids for Fozzy because they may frighten him too much, with their unpredictable movements and feel overall a child free home is best for him.

Fozzy is not tested with cats but loves other dogs and would make a magnificent fur-brother<3

Please connect with us if you think you might be able to give Fozzy the patient and loving home he deserves!
