1/26/15... Sad news for Sarah and her sister Georgette! These beautiful tabby gals were sadly returned to foster care after having a wonderful loving home for 4 years. Unfortunately their human Mom passed away suddenly and
was found days later in bed.
Poor Sarah & Georgette were besides themselves upset and crying for weeks back in foster care. After much TLC and time they have both settled in nicely and are ready to get a new family.
They absolutely do not need to stay together!! Each can be adopted individually.
Sarah is now approx 4 1/2 yrs old, spayed, current with vaccines, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She would make a very loving, affectionate companion and would most likely do best in a less busy household.
9/8/10 'Sarah' and her sister 'Georgette' came into foster care from someone who's stray Mom had at least 6 kittens. Sarah is a very sweet brown tabby, and purrs like crazy when you hold her.
The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
The first step in adoption is to...
Young KITTENS are always adopted in Pairs or to homes with other felines already in the home. Click here to read why kittens are happier with a buddy!
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
