My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hunter...
an adorable 14 pound,1.5 year old, Jack Russell Terrier mix. This sweet little boy was dumped in a canyon with another dog (his friend Noah) and survived on their own for almost three weeks. The pair were frightened, matted and emaciated and coyote and rattlesnake sightings are common in the canyon. Once frightened and discarded like trash and now beautiful, loving and loved.

At first Hunter's foster family felt the pair should be placed together. After months of observing them as a pair and working with a trainer, it was considered best for each of the dogs to be separated, so that each could reach their full potential. Hunter is no longer Noah's shadow and becomes more confident each day. He is now longing for a patient, loving, forever home!

Hunter is housetrained, great on a leash, loves car rides and enjoys playing with his best friend Brandy and other small dogs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
