Need some laughs? This boy is sure to add some to your life. ; He loves to be outside but, in the evenings. loves to snuggle for a little television or a movie. He has never harmed a cat but seems to enjoy chasing them for sport, so would prefer a no-cat household. He is good with other dogs but enjoys special time with his person. He would love to have a new home where he can be top dog. Home visit and vet check required prior to all adoptions. For more info on Mitt, call or email and is foster will respond asap!

About LAPAW Rescue & TNR

About Our Rescue Group...

LAPAW Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit, all breed rescue group. We do not have a shelter, but instead foster animals in our homes until they are adopted. We are committed to giving homeless animals a second chance at life.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made through PAYPAL at lapaw@bellsouth.net. All donations are tax deductible and go directly to care of our homeless pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

LAPAW Rescue holds pet adoption days every Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Petsmart in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fees for our rescue animals range from $100 to $150. LAPAW Rescue spays or neuters every animal, provides all shots, and vet checks every animal. Anyone interested in adopting must fill out an adoption application and be screened by an adoption coordinator. Home visits are required prior to adoptions. The home visit is to assure the safety of the animal and that the dog is a good match for the family.
