Sahara's Story...
Hello! My name may be Sahara like the desert, but I am anything but dry when comes to spunk or personality. I am a little ball of energy ready to play and explore. Don't let my nose fool you; it may be short, but I can follow a scent! When first meeting new acquaintances, I can be a little aloof. There are just so many things that capture my interest. But, if you take some time with me, I will be all tail wags and kisses. My favorite thing is resting my head in someone's lap for a nice ear rub. Just so you know, I happen to think that I am very cute. And, I will utilize these adorable good looks to get my way. I do have a tendency to be stubborn. Therefore, I am recommended for an experienced owner who has familiarity with my breed. I am approved for homes with children 12 and over. If there are other dogs in your household, could you please bring them down to meet me first? I haven't had a lot of experience with other dogs in my past and would like the opportunity to get off on the right foot. Come spend some time with me today and see if we are a match!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sahara, a Harrisonburg Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
