Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GIA, CGC - Pit bull mix, female, 5 years, 50 lbs. Gia's mantra is run, jump, swim, repeat! Our exuberant and fun-loving girl enjoys dock diving, swimming, agility, jogging, fetching balls and squeak toys. Gia is a Canine Good Citizen who thinks that cuddling with her people is an Olympic sport. While she's 100% comfortable in a crate, Gia would much rather be with her humans. She enjoys being a couch potato in the house and burns off her energy outdoors. Gia gets along famously with the two male dogs in her foster home and has impeccable house manners. Some of her favorite things include peanut butter, Greek yogurt and rope toys (which are super fun!) Our sweet girl would benefit from a home that understands the energy, power and strength of Gia. Because of her strong prey drive and her self-appointed mission to rid the world of squirrels and rabbits, a fenced-in yard is required. Gia also needs a cat-free home. Click here to visit Gia's Facebook page to get to know her better!
** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
