Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carrisbrooke is approx 1 year old and 40 lbs. He was turned into our local high kill city pound by his owners as the wife got a shih tzu puppy and did not want Carrisbrooke any more - very sad as they said they bought him from a breeder as a puppy. He is a very sweet dog. He knows how to sit and give you his paw, but he really could do with some basic obedience training. He is playful and will run with his rescue buddies and loves to play tag, with him the the lead and always with a toy in his mouth - he loves toys! He would be a great dog to take jogging or to the dog park. They clearly did not care for him as he tested positive for heart worms and we had him treated, and is also now on a monthly heart worm preventative. He is a really nice dog that will benefit from other dogs to play with or someone who can give him lots of exercise. He is not suitable for an apartment or little children that he might knock over when playing. He looks like a beardie mix and was so matted we had to have him shaved down, but he has a beautiful long gray and white coat that will need regular grooming. He is semi house trained and will need some additional leash training - a typical puppy.
